Strip old moquette and hair covering. Re-stringing the springs.
Design and cut cover template from original worn piece, replace over springs
Attach springs to new canvas cover, add first hairpad
Measure, cut and fit hessian cover for first hairpad
Fit second hairpad. Measure, cut and fit calico cover for second hairpad, using original as template pattern.
Adding wadding before fitting final top layer of moquette
Finishing touches: measure and cut pattern for underneath black cloth, again using the original as a template. Fit over webbing and around underside edge.
